Unofficial Traditions, Setup, and Guidelines for Freedom Fellowship
-
The Setup and Introduction to Freedom FellowshipThe invitation letter is the founder’s prayer to humanity; embrace individual rights, accept objective reality as is, you own your mind, reason is the correct guide to a moral life, only voluntary interaction between humans is moral, decentralized authority is best, give back in your own way, love is conditional and important to be moral, and finally, the only starting place for correct morality is reason based selfishness. Freedom Fellowship’s founder did not see a group in the world that they completely agreed with, so they created one. The founder wanted there to be only 1 goal for the group, “individual rights for every human.” The founder did not want the group to be dogmatic, but you do have to have some moral principles otherwise the group would end up like “Lord of the Flies.” The founder wanted to have as many principles as needed to be reason based and moral, but as few principles as possible. Human nature is individually based and everyone is unique, which is why humans like the “custom build” options in video games. The founder came up with 8 principles that they think are needed to be reason based and moral but allowed for as much individuality as possible within those principles. Each principle defines itself but is worded as loosely as possible to allow for personal interpretation. The founder is not telling other people how to live their life. The founder is saying that if you want to be reason based and moral, then you need to live within the boundaries of these 8 principles. People are free to live outside the boundaries of the 8 principles, but that would be irrational and lead to immorality, which is always followed with suffering. The fundamental law of morality is “Irrationality always leads to immorality.” The founder identified irrational views that people have to help prevent others from making those mistakes. Freedom Fellowship’s only official statement is the 2-page invitation letter written from one Earthling to another Earthling. The founder did not include their name because this ideology is not about them. Freedom Fellowship is for the benefit of all individual humans. Freedom Fellowship is NOT about the personal glory of any individual. Members are encouraged to create their own versions beyond the invitation letter, but they need to stay within the boundaries of the 8 principles and overall goal. Also, all versions beyond the letter that people create, are considered unofficial and personal interpretation. Unofficial and personal interpretation does not mean wrong in any way, it just has to be set up that way in order to respect every member of the community. When a person says that they are a member of Freedom Fellowship, that only means that they agree with the invitation letter 95% or more. They are not saying anything about the personal versions beyond the letter that other members have created. If you want to know what a member thinks about a particular version beyond the letter, then they need to specifically ask the person what they think about that version. Freedom Fellowship’s founder created this ideological group because they wanted people to take philosophy and morals more seriously. Every member is expected to spend some time thinking about their values and applying them to reality. Each member is expected to come up with their own moral playbook that goes beyond the basics of the invitation letter. Members are not expected to share it with the public, but they are asked to share it with at least 2 people who they trust to get feedback on. They can turn to a leader for help, but that is not a requirement. Leaders/Preachers are expected to share some of their moral playbook with the public. They do not have to share everything though, because the world is at war right now and it’s not smart to give enemies all the information. Freedom Fellowship is very new so there are hardly any versions out there right now. In a thousand years there will be multiple versions to choose from, because there will be a lot of time to think about life through a reason-based and moral lens. People in a thousand years are expected to think about this stuff on their own though and develop their thoughts independently. It is likely that there will be a version that is very close to whatever conclusions they come to. They can join that version or they can still create their own. Every member carves up their own path in Freedom Fellowship, whether that is today, 1,000 years from now, or 1 billion years from now. Everyone in Freedom Fellowship is expected to take moral values and principles in a serious way.

Why is a group needed?Humans need community because we are social animals, community helps increase knowledge and trade, and community is needed to defend ourselves from other groups that want to murder or enslave you. It takes a group to have a large influence on the world. Individuals die, but moral principled groups can live on to build that ideal world for your kids and grandkids, out to a thousand generations. A morally principled group can last as long as humans do and can work until the end of time to maintain that reason based and moral world for all. In order for this to happen though in a reason based and moral way, then the group needs to have the right principles based on objective reality and human nature. Someone identifying as a Freedom Fellowship member, but not doing any of the community stuff is perfectly fine for a member to do, if that is what they want. Identifying as a member though, does act as gravity and helps pull the humans you do interact with towards these principles and goal. Anyone who respects you will look towards the moral principles that you stand on. Humans need reason based and moral community for offensive and defensive purposes, if they are to reach the ideal world and life. The founder wanted to create a real-world gravitational pull on all humans to become reason based and moral. If you agree with the letter then you should identify as a member or leader, so that you can increase the Freedom Fellowship’s gravitational pull on humanity to have an individual rights based world. Effectively, the founder created a de-centralized, self-sustaining spirt bomb that pulls humanity towards correct morality.

How do I Join?If you agree with the goal of individual rights and the general idea of each of the 8 principles, then you are welcome to join. Freedom Fellowship does not have any central organization or leader that you need permission from to join. The only permission a human needs to join Freedom Fellowship comes from the central authority figure in their life, which is of course “yourself.” Only you can give yourself permission to join. Just say the magic words, “I am a Freedom Fellowship member/leader.” The group is young, but eventually there will be church like buildings for community and moral storytelling, where people can have a public “welcoming” type ceremony. If you agree with the letter about 95% or more, then you should join, because you can always clarify the wording that you wish was different in your personal moral playbook. Each person is encouraged to go beyond the official invitation letter and develop their views about life. A suggestion for a place to start, would be just to go over the official invitation letter and do a commentary of it. You can point out what you really like and explain why it speaks strongly to you. You are encouraged to point out stuff that you would have worded differently and why. You are free and encouraged to speech your mind 100% in Freedom Fellowship. You are free to rewrite the invitation letter for your own version, if you really want to get down to it. The official invitation letter stays as the default official statement for Freedom Fellowship. That is not changing, so that all members know the default version of the invitation letter, which they have officially agreed to and can be judged on. Freedom Fellowship is 10 things, when you break it down into its bare bones. "The Goal" of individual rights for every human now and forever. Freedom Fellowship is a community of individuals, because only a community of individuals can build and MAINTAIN an individual rights based world for as long as humans exist. Then you have 8 simple principles that will need to be embraced by humanity, if it is to ever build a "win-win" society. You can start your version beyond the letter, by redoing the invitation letter, if you want. As long as you agree with the goal, long-term team aspect (multiple generations), and the principles, then it would be great to have different reason-based and moral versions written of the invitation letter. Your version beyond the letter is not official for other Freedom Fellowship members, unless an individual specifically says they want your version beyond the letter to be their official version. That person is obviously still a Freedom Fellowship member who agrees with the default version, but that is their level 1 platform, your version would be their official level 2 platform. You are protected from other members version beyond the letter, which you dont agree with. They are considered unofficial for you and other people cannot judge you for anything you have not officially agreed with. If you find a version beyond the letter that you agree with, which was created by another member, you are allowed to officially say that is your level 2 platform, if YOU desire. Right now, the group is not built up yet, so it is going to be up to the early members to make others aware of this life option.

There are two different kinds of members.Every individual selects their role in the community and the path they walk. In general, members are private about their values, while leaders/preachers are public about their values. Member- A regular member is someone who agrees with the Freedom Fellowship principles and overall goal, but they are more private about it. Members can be public or loud if they want, but that is not the expectation if a person identifies themselves as this kind of member. Leader or Preacher- A leader or preacher is someone who accepts a leadership role in Freedom Fellowship and identifies themselves as someone who is willing to talk about it in the public space. Each person decides on whether to call themselves a preacher or a leader. A leader does not have to have a church and congregation to lead. A leader could just be a public leader or scholar, who wants to let others know that they are always willing to engage in honest conversation about Freedom Fellowship. I would imagine that only leaders who want to have a church and congregation of clients will identify themselves as a preacher. A leader could be a scientist who has a science lab dedicated to solving some problem in nature. A leader can take many different forms. A leader could be someone who has a tree farm and works to solve problems between nature and humans.

Special day and monthThe special day is February 19th. The special month is July. -When people create their own versions, they are allowed to have special days for their own version if they want. For example, maybe there will be a version of Freedom Fellowship dedicated to Star Wars, so that version will likely celebrate May 4th as their specific version’s special day.

What Stories are there in Freedom Fellowship?Freedom Fellowship embraces all the stories that humans have created and allows members to pick their own character to be their moral hero. A person can choose a character that exists, make a character up, or use a real person as their moral hero. As long as the character represents the 8 moral principles then the member can do as they like. Leaders and preachers are free to use any story they want to make a moral point, as long as the point agrees with the 8 principles. Eacher preacher will do it their own way. Some preachers will rotate between a few stories, some may only use one story, and some may use many stories. It is entirely up to the preacher and their congregation. Churches are free to be designed however the preacher and congregation wants them. Basically, whoever is doing the funding can build their church however they want. In a thousand years, there will be Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, South Park, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, etc. themed churches located all over the world and Mars. A church can include multiple stories. Members are only limited by their imagination and ambition to create.

Educational OptionsMembers are encouraged to create educational options for all humans using Freedom Fellowship as their base. There will be colleges, K-12, and elderly educational options one day. It is not going to happen though unless members make it so. We are 100% in charge of building this for our great grandchildren of tomorrow. One day Freedom Fellowship will have educational opportunities for humans from birth to death.

Maybe SitesA maybe site is a location on Earth that is special to Freedom Fellowship. A maybe site is similar to a holy location. Each maybe site is set up by a leader. Having multiple sites will help Freedom Fellowship spread and appeal to people of all races, places, and everything else that makes up humans. Humans have a desire to have places that are meant to be more important and special, even if there is not anything supernatural about them. There is no limit to how many maybe sites there is allowed to be. It is possible to have too many sites, but it is also possible to have too few sites. There are no particular rules for exactly what a site has to have or be. This will be determined by the leader who sets it up. A list of suggestions for possible things to have on the site are; a church, maybe a university has a branch on the site, other educational buildings, economic and moral think tanks, rental houses or shelters so that people can spend time there to connect to others, themselves and reality, maybe a farm, maybe some high tech business, etc. It’s entirely dependent on the leader. For example, maybe Elon or Bezos create a maybe site that is dedicated to space travel and exploration. Maybe J.K. Rowling creates a maybe site and its all Harry Potter.
